Caldeira gin offers a unique taste experience thanks to its carefully selected botanicals. It embodies the Auvergne region with its base of broom flower, yarrow, lemon balm, chamomile, linden, and angelica. The resinous notes of broom flower and juniper berry are underlined by the freshness of lemon balm, making it an ideal gin for a Gin & Tonic with a few verbena leaves as garnish. Caldeira was awarded a silver medal at the World Drinks Awards 2025 in the 'Classic Gin' category!

A harmonious nose, where red fruits intertwine with the menthol and aniseed notes of
plants. A beautiful herbaceous freshness is expressed through gentian and rhubarb. -
A palate that is both fine and complex, juggling between the sweetness of the liqueur, the notes of fruit and plants and the singular acidity of the rhubarb.

The finish turns towards a more floral register. The sugar gradually fades to give way to a
refreshing bitterness.

Hugo Spritz
In a large balloon glass filled with ice, pour:
6 cl of Altopiano Aperitivo Bio Cérès
2 cl of fresh lemon juice
Top up with sparkling water or a bubble of your choice (Natural Sparkling Wine, Prosecco) and garnish with beautiful fresh basil leaves.

Our secret recipe… or almost
To produce Altopiano, we macerate rhubarb, raspberry, redcurrant, and gentian root in wine alcohol for several weeks. After filtering the macerate, the fruits are distilled with aromatic plants: tarragon, verbena, basil, thyme, and rosemary. This fruit-plant distillate is then blended with the macerate. The whole is then sweetened and bottled at 16% ABV.

Made without artificial colors, our creations may change color over time. A slight natural deposit may also form inside the bottles. Rest assured: these natural phenomena do not alter the sensory qualities of our products in any way!
These keep very well: ideally upright, away from light and heat, in a dry place.
